Considering
the lack of medical resources in the Xindian area, in the 1960’s
the late Cardinal Tien Ken-Sin built this hospital (from the ground
up) to provide the public with better medical care. With very limited resource in Taiwan, Cardinal Tien worked
hard to raise funds from charitable organizations in West Germany.,
But unfortunately Cardinal Tien passed away before its completion on
October 22, 1968. The
hospital was named after him as a memorium of his leadership and
selfless giving.

for Alzheimer Patients,
Good-Hope

In 2004 the new medical building at Xindian was inaugurated,
allowing us to further expand our quality medical care for the
public. |
